ABOUT NO CHILD TRASHING
The No Child Trashing! campaign is a social development project aimed at saving lives by reducing the alarming rate of infancy and child abandonment. Over 100 babies are found abandoned each week in remote areas where little help is slow to come before the child is lost. The Channels Children Center is the host of this campaign and has taken necessary steps to rehabilitate
young mothers and mothers-to-be who, for one reason or another, believe they have no other choice but to abandon their newborns.

Objective of the Campaign
01.
The No Child Trashing! project is held twice a year. Its main objectives are:
02.
To promote awareness for young women on how to live a safe sex life
03.
To promote an awareness of rape
04.
To create an awareness about the option of contacting a registered orphanage for guidance on how to handle unwanted pregnancies rather than trashing the fetus or newborn.
05.
To promote the awareness of the wrongfulness of child trashing.
06.
To provide support to young women with unwanted pregnancies, up until birth
ABOUT US
Our Mission:
With the recent surge of abandoned children in our society over the years, we find it is our
duty to find a solution. We approach this by working with the Social Development Secretariat
in Abuja and collaborating with orphanages across the country in rescuing abandoned children
and set them up in a safe and loving home where their physical, spiritual, and emotional
wellbeing can be fulfilled. In doing so, we hope to provide an avenue for happiness for couples
and families who are unable to have children through other means (natural child birth, IVF or
surrogacy) or are seeking to make an addition to their home. In all this, confidentiality is
guaranteed through the process.
Our Values:
• Compassion, Empathy and Respect for our partners
• Confidentiality
• Integrity and Transparency in all things
• Excellent care of the children placed under our wing
